Research Cavity RDT-05 withstood the plunge to 2 K in superfluid helium while remaining leak free, maintaining a pressure of less than 1.2E-8 mbar. After conditioning, it exhibited onset of field emission at 12.5 MV/ m and quenched at 18.5 MV/m.
